PRR 60 on the Move

This is pretty cool & has been a long time coming - PRR 60 is being moved on the Wilmington & Western Railroad from Hockessin, DE to Marshallton, DE to (eventually) head to Lewes, DE for the Lewes Junction Railroad & Bridge Association to be displayed with the cabin car I used to work on during my time at the Delaware Coast Line Railroad. The 60 will have to go by truck to Lewes.

No Updates

Still no updates on my model railroad plans. I'm hoping to free-up some time to devote to modeling, but the railroad keeps me busy so free time isn't easy to find right now.

Conundrum

Conundrum

I'm at a crossroads, currently.

I've been promoted at the railroad, so now my limited time for modeling has been reduced, a second time, & now there's even less time to devote to my hobby (that's what happens when you're a professional railroad folks - 40 years this year now).

I have to do some soul-searching to see what I want to do with the Cambridge Secondary Track. I might now NOT have the time to model it, but then again, I might.

I guess the next few months will help me determine exactly what I'm going to do next.

As you always see, stay tuned!

Dave Frary Carrabasset and Dead River Model Railroad

I forgot to mention one of my influences in model railroading: Dave Frary's Carrabasset & Dead River model railroad. Growing up in the 1970s, you couldn't read either Model Railroader magazine or Railroad Model Craftsman Magazine without seeing Dave's Maine 2-footer (HOn3 using N scale track).
